Jarvis Christian University inducted 11 new members into the Jarvis Athletic Hall of Fame Saturday, October 12, during a luncheon in the E.W. Rand Center Varsity Gymnasium.

Pictured from left, standing, are JCU President Dr. Glenell M. Lee-Pruitt, who presented plaques to all of the inductees or their representatives; Dr. James L. McBride, '94, of Desoto, Texas, for track and field; Edwin Earl Woods, Sr., '76, of Irvington, Alabama, for baseball; Phyllis Thompson, the daughter of the late Keith R. Thompson, ’62, of Midland, Texas, for football; Sunja Robertson Anderson, '81, of Conroe, Texas, for cheerleading (tie); Jessyca Holmes Caldwell, the daughter of the late Charles M. Holmes, '60, for coaching.

Each of the new inductees into the Jarvis Athletic Hall of Fame was introduced by a current Jarvis Bulldog athlete competing in the same sport as the inductees. Congratulations to the new Jarvis Athletic Hall of Fame inductees!
