Jarvis Christian University Title IX Policy:

Jarvis Christian University is committed to providing a workplace and educational environment, as well as other benefits, programs, and activities that are free from sex discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation. To ensure compliance with federal and state civil rights laws and regulations, and to affirm its commitment to promoting the goals of fairness and equity in all aspects of the educational program or activity. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”) is a federal law that prohibits sex discrimination.

It is the policy of Jarvis Christian University to comply with all applicable federal and state nondiscrimination laws and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, sex, age, veteran status, physical or mental disabilities, or sexual orientation as per the guidance set forth in the Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972, as amended; Section 202 of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; Section 303 of the Age Discrimination Act of 1975; and Title VI, Assurances of Compliance, of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
