Institutional research and effectiveness

Welcome to the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness

The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (OIRE) at Jarvis Christian University is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-informed decision-making. Our office serves as a vital resource in supporting the university’s mission through strategic planning, assessment, and the use of reliable data to enhance institutional effectiveness.

As a key partner in the university's planning and evaluation processes, we provide accurate and timely data to inform leadership, faculty, and staff on important issues related to student success, academic quality, and operational efficiency. By collecting, analyzing, and reporting institutional data, we help ensure that the university is meeting its goals and continuously improving the educational experience for all students.
What We Do?

  • Institutional Research: We gather and analyze data on key areas such as enrollment, retention, graduation rates, and faculty performance, providing valuable insights to inform policy and decision-making.
  • Assessment and Accreditation Support: We collaborate with academic departments and administrative units to develop and implement assessment plans that support accreditation requirements and ensure we deliver high-quality education and services.
  • Strategic Planning: We assist university leadership in developing data-driven strategies to achieve institutional goals and improve overall effectiveness.
  • Continuous Improvement: By regularly reviewing programs and outcomes, we promote a culture of accountability and excellence, helping to drive positive change across the university.

At Jarvis Christian University, the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness is here to support the success of our students and the overall mission of the institution. Through collaboration, transparency, and a commitment to data-driven insights, we are working to create a future where Jarvis continues to thrive as a leader in higher education.
