The weekend will feature a series of special events, including the J.N. Ervin Founders’ Convocation, the prestigious Pioneer Hall of Fame and Preeminence Awards Gala, and a spectacular concert featuring Eddie Levert of The O’Jays. Join us as we kick off Jarvis Christian University’s 113th Founders/Homecoming Weekend with the esteemed J.N. Ervin Founders’ Convocation—a time-honored tradition dedicated to celebrating the rich history and enduring legacy of our institution.
This year, we are honored to welcome Olujimi Brown, Founder of Impact Church, as our keynote speaker. A dynamic leader and visionary, Olujimi Brown is renowned for his commitment to faith, service, and community transformation. Through his leadership at Impact Church, he has empowered countless individuals to embrace purpose-driven lives rooted in faith and excellence.
As we reflect on the journey of Jarvis Christian University—from its humble beginnings to its present-day impact—this convocation serves as a powerful reminder of our mission to educate, inspire, and uplift future generations. Join us for an unforgettable evening of celebration, recognition, and legendary entertainment at the 2025 Pioneer Hall of Fame and Preeminence Awards Gala, a signature event of Jarvis Christian University’s 113th Founders/Homecoming Weekend.
This prestigious gala honors outstanding alumni whose excellence, leadership, and commitment have made a lasting impact on Jarvis Christian University and beyond. Their achievements embody the spirit of excellence and perseverance that define the Jarvis legacy.
Following the awards ceremony, the night gets even more exciting with a special performance by the legendary Eddie Levert of The O’Jays! With a career spanning decades, Eddie Levert has captivated audiences worldwide with timeless hits like “Love Train,”“For the Love of Money,” and “Back Stabbers.” His soulful voice and electrifying stage presence will make this a night to remember.
