At Jarvis Christian University, endowed gifts create a lasting legacy that supports the institution’s mission of academic excellence, leadership development, and service. Endowments provide a permanent source of funding, allowing donors to make a meaningful, long-term impact on the lives of our students, faculty, and programs. These funds are invested to generate ongoing income, ensuring sustained support for the university’s priorities.

By establishing an endowed gift, you ensure that your generosity benefits future generations of students while promoting academic innovation and institutional growth. Join us in making a lasting impact at Jarvis Christian University.

Establishing a named scholarship at Jarvis Christian University is a meaningful way to create a lasting legacy while directly supporting our students in pursuit of academic excellence and purpose-driven lives. Named scholarships may be created through endowed or annual gifts and can be customized to reflect the donor’s values, honor a loved one, or celebrate a personal connection to the university.
An endowed scholarship is a permanent fund in which the principal remains intact, and only the investment income is used to award scholarships. Endowments ensure long-term financial support for JCU students and may be established with a minimum gift of $5,000, which can be funded over a period of up to five years.
Annual scholarships may be established with a minimum gift of $1,000 per year for a commitment of at least three years. These scholarships are awarded in full each year based on the donor’s specified criteria.
Class reunion gifts are a powerful way for alumni to honor their time at Jarvis Christian University while investing in its future. By designating your reunion gift to the university’s endowment, you help ensure that generations of students will have access to scholarships, academic programs, and campus experiences rooted in excellence, faith, and service.
