The Office of the Registrar is the official custodian of student records and is responsible for the implementation of academic policies. This office does not assign or “give” grades, but rather the Office of the Registrar records grades and other information. The Office of the Registrar also interprets and enforces college policy, but it does not create or write policy.
Jarvis Christian University (JCU) ensures the availability of official catalogs with relevant information and degree requirements sufficient to serve former and returning students. These documents are on the website under catalogs, as well as housed in the Office of the Registrar and the Olin Library. A student may access archived catalogs from 2012- present via the JCU website; or if not listed, by contacting the Registrar's Office.
This office is also responsible for coordinating course and room schedules and enrollment verification. Other services include graduation certification, transfer credit evaluation, official transcripts, and the coordination of veterans. You may contact us at (903) 730-4890 ext. 2452 or 2453.
