The Office of the Registrar is the official custodian of student records and is responsible for the implementation of academic policies. This office does not assign or “give” grades, but rather the Office of the Registrar records grades and other information. The Office of the Registrar also interprets and enforces college policy, but it does not create or write policy.
Jarvis Christian College (JCC) ensures the availability of official catalogs with relevant information and degree requirements sufficient to serve former and returning students. These documents are on the website under catalogs, as well as housed in the Office of the Registrar and the Olin Library. A student may access archived catalogs from 2012- present via the JCC website; or if not listed, by contacting the Registrar's Office.
This office is also responsible for coordinating course and room schedules and enrollment verification. Other services include graduation certification, transfer credit evaluation, official transcripts, and the coordination of veterans. You may contact us at (903) 730-4890 ext. 2452 or 2453.
ONLINE COLLEGE CONSORTIUM
Through Acadeum, Jarvis Christian College now has the ability to offer a wide array of online courses. Acadeum has established a consortium of like-minded accredited colleges and universities who have agreed to share their courses with Jarvis students. To access a list of pre-approved courses, click here. This is a great opportunity for our students to complete coursework during the summer months. All courses completed through this consortium are considered institutional credit and will impact the students' grade point average like any course completed at Jarvis Christian College.
To register for courses, click here. Students must establish an account using their Jarvis student email in order to begin the registration process. Please note that all course registrations are dependent upon approval through the Office of the Registrar at Jarvis Christian College. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of the Registrar at email@example.com or 903-730-4890 ext. 2452.
