Jarvis Christian University senior business major Dailona Dallas of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has been selected as a White House Scholar for the 2024-2025 HBCU Scholar Recognition Program. She receives an all-expense-paid trip to attend the 2024 Annual National HBCU Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in September and will participate in monthly online master classes, networking with scholars and learners across the nation.
As a White House Scholar, she will serve as a student ambassador ensuring that vital information, resources, and opportunities are shared across the campus.
Dallas is an honors student, the president of CKI student club, a member of the Pre-Alumni Council, the National Association of Black Accountants and the Zeta chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. The day she applied for the White House Scholars program, she was chosen the 2024-2025 Miss Jarvis. Her outstanding leadership, academic excellence, and commitment to civic enggement have earned her this incredible honor.,
