The first graduate degrees ever awarded by Jarvis Christian University were presented Saturday, May 4, to 29 new graduate students at the Jarvis Christian University 2024 Commencement ceremony in the E.W.Rand Center Varsity Gymnasium at JCU's main campus in Hawkins, Texas.

Keynote speaker was Mississippi U.S. Congressman Bennie Thomas of Mississippi, the home state of Jarvis' President Dr. Glenell M. Lee-Pruitt, who presided over her first commencement as the university's 13th president.
