Welcome to the Criminal Justice Program at Jarvis Christian University, where we prepare students for impactful careers in law enforcement, corrections, legal studies, and community advocacy. Mission

The mission of the Criminal Justice Program is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities needed to pursue careers in criminal justice, while promoting fairness, equity, and justice in society. We foster a deep understanding of the complex legal and social systems that govern crime, law enforcement, and corrections.

Program Highlights

Our curriculum covers a broad range of topics to prepare students for diverse career opportunities in the criminal justice field. Some of the areas of study include Criminal Law and Procedure, Criminology, Corrections, Juvenile Justice, and Forensic Science. Students also explore the ethical dimensions of criminal justice, preparing them to make informed and morally sound decisions in their professional roles.

Graduates from the Criminal Justice Program at JCU are prepared for careers in Law Enforcement (local, state, and federal agencies), Corrections and Probation Services, Criminal Investigation, Court Administration and Legal Support, and Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Our program also provides a strong foundation for those interested in pursuing law school or graduate studies in criminal justice or related fields.
