Jarvis Christian University to Welcome Erskine “Chuck” Faush, Jr. for 2026 Fall Convocation

Jarvis Christian University will welcome Erskine “Chuck” Faush, Jr., Chief Innovation Officer and Growth Officer at Miles College, as the featured speaker for its 2026 Fall Convocation. The program will be held Tuesday, September 8, at 11 a.m. in Smith-Howard Chapel on the University’s main campus in Hawkins, Texas.

Fall Convocation is an important tradition in the academic life of Jarvis Christian University, bringing together students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to formally recognize the beginning of a new academic year. The gathering provides an opportunity for the University community to reflect on its shared purpose while encouraging students to pursue academic excellence, personal development, leadership, and service.
