Jarvis Christian University will make a big transformation announcement at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 8, 2022 in the Meyer Auditorium on the university main campus at Hwy. 80 East and PR 7631. The public is invited. 

A reception in the Meyer Center will follow the short event.

Speakers will include 

Jarvis Christian University President Dr. Lester C. Newman,

Hawkins City Mayor Susan Hubbard,

Wood County Economic Development Commission Executive Director Christophe Trahan,

Hawkins ISD Superintendent Susan Morton,

Director of the Honors Program and education professor Dr. Cheryl Kariuki,

University Chaplain The Rev, Dr. Sedaric Dinkens,

Jarvis Student Government Association President Kennedy Murray, class of 2023,

Kijahro Tucker, biology/chemistry major, class of 2026,

Cleopatra Allen, Jarvis Transformation Officer

UNCF Director of Executive Leadership Dr. Zillah Fluker
