HAWKINS, TX — While legendary soul singer Eddie Levert will headline Jarvis Christian University’s 2025 Pioneer Hall of Fame and Preeminence Awards Gala Concert, two other outstanding performers—Klarc Naomi and Theresa Grayson—will help set the tone for an unforgettable night of celebration, music, and Bulldog pride on Friday, March 21, 2025.

The event, held in the Anthony Robinson Varsity Gym at the E.W. Rand Center, begins with a formal gala and dinner at 7:00 p.m., followed by a concert at 9:00 p.m. These events are part of JCU’s larger Founders/Homecoming Weekend, which brings together alumni, students, and friends of the university for a series of meaningful experiences rooted in heritage, excellence, and community.

Klarc Naomi, a gospel powerhouse and rising star on the contemporary Christian music scene, will bring her dynamic vocal range and worship-infused performance style to the gala stage. Known for her soul-stirring voice, Klarc Naomi is a classically trained artist whose performances have graced national platforms and regional stages alike. Her ability to blend gospel, jazz, and R&B influences into worship music has earned her a growing following among audiences of all ages.

“Klarc Naomi’s music speaks to the heart and spirit,” said Dominique Grate, Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Development. “Her performance at the Homecoming Gala will be more than entertainment—it will be a celebration of faith, legacy, and the power of voice to uplift.”

Joining her on the lineup is acclaimed saxophonist Theresa Grayson, whose smooth jazz artistry has captivated audiences around the globe. Known for her expressive sound and seamless fusion of jazz, soul, and gospel, Grayson brings a level of sophistication and musicality that adds a unique element to this year’s program. With albums like It’s All About You and Live2Love, Grayson has solidified her reputation as one of the most versatile and engaging instrumentalists in contemporary music.

“Theresa Grayson brings elegance, warmth, and depth to every stage she steps on,” Grate added. “Her performance will create a beautifully balanced evening, combining energy, soul, and inspiration.”

This year’s Homecoming Gala promises to be one of the most exciting and memorable to date. Alongside performances by Klarc Naomi and Theresa Grayson, the night will also feature comedy from Derrick King, who will serve as both host and featured entertainer. And of course, the legendary Eddie Levert will close the evening with a performance of his timeless hits.
