Jarvis Christian University is pleased to announce that registration for fall semester classes is now open for the 2024 academic year. Students are encouraged to secure their spots in courses ahead of the upcoming semester, which is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 12, 2024.

As the university prepares to welcome students back to campus, this semester promises an enriching academic experience with a wide range of courses across various disciplines. From foundational courses to advanced seminars, students will have the opportunity to explore their academic interests and expand their knowledge under the guidance of esteemed faculty members.

“We are excited to open registration for the fall semester and look forward to welcoming both new and returning students to our campus,” said JCU President Dr. Glenell M. Lee-Pruitt. “Our commitment to academic excellence and student success remains steadfast, and we are dedicated to providing a supportive learning environment that is accessible, approachable, and available and where every student can thrive.”

Key dates for the fall semester include:

  • New Student Arrival Saturday, August 3, 2024
  • New Student Registration & Parent Orientation  Saturday, August 3, 2024
  • Parents Parting Ceremony Sunday, August 4, 2024
  • New Student Orientation/ Welcome Week Monday through Friday, August 5-9, 2024
  • Fall Assessment Roundup Tuesday through Thursday, August 6-8, 2024
  • Returning Student Registration Thursday and Friday, August 8-9, 2024
  • Welcome Back Weekend Friday and Saturday, August 9-11, 2024
  • Classes Begin: Monday, August 12, 2024

Students are encouraged to visit the university’s website at www.jarvis.edu or call the admissions office (903-730-4890  Option 1) to discuss degree programs, available courses, check prerequisites, and secure their schedules for the upcoming semester. Academic advisors are available to assist students in planning their course selections and addressing any questions.
