Jarvis Christian University students are completing the Fall 2024 semester earlier than in years past and will check out from the residence halls by 5 p.m. Saturday, November 23, until they return for the Spring 2025 semester in January.
“This year, for the first time, JCU students will not return to campus following the Thanksgiving holiday,” said Interim Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Kishia James. “This change to the JCU Academic Calendar should benefit students by eliminating transportation costs associated with returning to campus for two weeks after Thanksgiving.”
JCU final class day was Friday, November 15. JCU students took their final exams Monday through Friday, November 18 through November 22. Students will return to live in campus residence halls on Saturday, January 4. The Spring 2025 semester begins Monday, January 6.
