HAWKINS, TX — With a compelling voice and a heart for transformation, Rickie Clark has built a career that is as impactful as it is inspiring. As an Educational Consultant, Author, and Motivational Speaker, Clark is nationally known for his work with youth—especially young men of color—in underserved communities. Through his dynamic leadership, innovative programming, and commitment to equity, he is shaping lives and communities across the country.

Currently, Clark serves as the Executive Director of the Fort Worth Independent School District’s My Brother’s Keeper initiative, a program originally launched by President Barack Obama in 2014. This national initiative was designed to address persistent opportunity gaps facing boys and young men of color and ensure that all young people can reach their full potential. Under Clark’s leadership, the Fort Worth chapter has become a model for holistic youth development, mentoring, and empowerment.

What sets Rickie Clark apart is not only his passion but his strategic and culturally relevant approach to mentoring and education. His signature program, Strategies to Elevate People (STEP), has garnered national attention for its success in promoting self-awareness, resilience, and leadership among its participants. Through STEP, Clark empowers students to better understand their identity, overcome adversity, and create their own paths to success.

Clark’s work extends beyond the boundaries of Fort Worth. As a national trainer and consultant, he travels the United States designing, implementing, and coordinating programs that support underserved youth through self-development, academic enrichment, and cultural education. Whether in school districts, youth detention centers, or community organizations, his methods are rooted in empathy, empowerment, and high expectations. His impact is not limited to programs—he changes mindsets and uplifts entire communities.

A published author, Clark also uses his platform to advocate for systemic change and provide practical tools for educators, mentors, and community leaders. His writing offers insight into the challenges facing marginalized youth and provides actionable strategies for supporting their growth.

At the heart of Clark’s work is a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and opportunity. He understands that meaningful change starts with authentic relationships and intentional systems of support. His approach is comprehensive—addressing not just educational gaps, but also social, emotional, and cultural development. He believes in seeing the whole student, and through that lens, he has become a powerful force for change.

Jarvis Christian University is proud to highlight Rickie Clark’s extraordinary contributions to education and community uplift. His work reflects the core values of the university—leadership, service, and transformation. As an educator, motivator, and visionary, Rickie Clark continues to inspire future generations to believe in themselves, embrace their purpose, and lead with excellence.
